Tri-Cities is 8-2 against Creekside since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The pair will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tri-Cities comes in on three and Creekside on four.

Last Saturday, Tri-Cities earned a 59-46 win over Lithia Springs. Given Tri-Cities' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Lithia Springs is ranked 278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tri-Cities' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emari Benton led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Benton scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssia Bandele, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

In what's become a running theme this season, Creekside gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They breezed by Northgate on the road to the tune of 64-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Creekside has posted since December 29, 2023.

Tri-Cities is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Creekside, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Tri-Cities took a serious blow against Creekside in their previous matchup on January 2nd, falling 80-42. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Creekside's C?india Dennis, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 4 assists.
