Football Recap: Boles Finds Home Field Redemption Against Pewitt

There's no place like home for Boles, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 31-26 victory over the Pewitt Brahmas on Friday. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 46-2 win the Brahmas walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Grayson Drennan, who rushed for 67 yards and two scores, and also threw for 76 yards and one TD. Those 67 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Boles' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Pewitt, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Boles and Pewitt will both be playing Como-Pickton the next time they take the field. The Brahmas will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
