            Baseball Recap: St. Anthony Roman Legion vs. Kenosha Christian Life Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            St. Anthony extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to seven  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They came up short against  the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles, falling  13-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Roman Legion of the  20-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2023.
As for Kenosha Christian Life,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4. Considering they have won four matchups by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
For Kenosha Christian Life's part,  Monchie Gunter made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. Gunter was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and two  doubles. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Bradley Palmer, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  runs were  his first of the season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will face off against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they will venture away from home to  challenge Luther Prep  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Phoenix at the right time seeing as the Phoenix are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
