Volleyball Game Preview: Ramsey Rams vs. Patoka Warriors

Ramsey and Patoka are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Ramsey came up short against Edinburg and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

While Ramsey was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Patoka also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Brownstown/St. Elmo by a score of 2-0.

While Patoka ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17.

Ramsey's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Patoka, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Ramsey skirted past Patoka 2-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
