McGregor has no trouble against Bruceville-Eddy

The McGregor Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. McGregor was the clear victor by a 48-22 margin over Bruceville-Eddy. For McGregor, this counts as revenge for the 36-32 defeat Bruceville-Eddy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

When it comes to explaining why Bruceville-Eddy lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Elaina Mcculloch. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Mcculloch's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Kambrie Diaz was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.

McGregor's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-10. As for Bruceville-Eddy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-7.

McGregor will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Little River Academy at 6:15 p.m. on December 12th. Little River Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than McGregor in Texas (Little River Academy is ranked 316th, while McGregor is ranked 859th). Bruceville-Eddy and Hill Country Christian School of Austin will face off at 3:30 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
