Christian Perea has led Northridge Academy in blocks on the season and he led the team again on Friday. Perea posted six points along with five boards and three steals. The performance marked the most rebounds he has had since back in November of 2024.

Perea's strong effort led Northridge Academy over Vaughn and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Northridge Academy is a perfect 9-0 against Vaughn going back to January of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
