Hamilton has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 23. They fell just short of the Elder Panthers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Hamilton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Elder are ranked 129th).

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-2. As for Elder, they pushed their record up to 7-7-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elder, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
