Edgar barely beat Spencer the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 13-3 win on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lucas Stahnke and Will Hackel did most of the damage at the plate: Stahnke went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Hackel went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave Stahnke a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jase Apfelbeck, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Edgar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Edgar's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Spencer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Edgar will challenge Pacelli at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spencer, they have already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against Loyal on the 23rd.
