Giddings is 10-0 against La Grange since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Giddings Buffaloes will venture away from home to square off against the La Grange Leopards at 7:15 p.m. Giddings is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Giddings' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on C.H. Yoe with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Buffaloes' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

La Grange fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They beat Manor New Tech by a goal, winning 1-0. One seems to be a good number for the Leopards as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Giddings is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six matches. As for La Grange, they pushed their record up to 5-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Everything went Giddings' way against La Grange when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Giddings made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Giddings since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
