Volleyball Recap: El Capitan Takes a Loss

If El Capitan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pitman last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The El Capitan Gauchos fell 2-0 to the Livingston Wolves on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Gauchos in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost three in a row.

Tyler McCreary paced El Capitan's offense, picking up seven kills. McCreary got some help from Thomas Hoffman and his 16 assists.

El Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Livingston, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coincidentally, El Capitan and Livingston will both be playing Enochs the next time they take the court. El Capitan will head out to face Enochs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Livingston will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
