Durham extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 14-5-1 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Paradise Bobcats. Considering the Trojans have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sadie Sjolund made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Sjolund was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
