Softball Recap: Prep Charter Takes a Loss

Prep Charter was the 15-0 winner over Carver High School of Engineering & Science when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 9-4 to Carver High School of Engineering & Science on Tuesday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prep Charter now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Prep Charter will take on Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Prep Charter's pitchers better be ready for this one: Nueva Esperanza has averaged an impressive 17.7 runs per game this season. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, they will square off against Swenson Arts & Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Lion have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.57 runs per game on average), something Carver High School of Engineering & Science will no doubt try to take advantage of.
