Basketball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinal Newman Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 479th, while the Cardinals are ranked 101st).

Windsor now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Cardinal Newman, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor has already played their next contest (against Maria Carrillo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cardinal Newman Cardinals duke it out with the Analy Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
