There's no place like home for Athens, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Athens Bible Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Golden Eagles were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Trojans, so the Golden Eagles were just returning the favor.

Athens is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season. As for Athens Bible, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.

Looking ahead, Athens will head out on the road to challenge Hartselle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Athens Bible, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Randolph School on the 27th.
