Snowflake beats Marcos de Niza for their fifth straight win

The Snowflake Lobos had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-21 win over Marcos de Niza at home. The result was nothing new for Snowflake, who have now won four matches by 28 points or more so far this season.

Leading Snowflake to victory were Karter Raban and Kanton Turley. Raban gained 110 total yards and two touchdowns, while Turley rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Turley is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Jo Jo Lerma got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Snowflake's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 5-2. They've been dominating across those matchups too: they took their wins by an average of 25 points. As for Marcos de Niza, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.

Snowflake will head out on the road to face off against Eastmark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastmark will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Marcos de Niza, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lake Havasu at 7:00 p.m.
