Basketball Recap: Pueblo Central Comes Up Short

Pueblo Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 65-50 to the Pueblo East Eagles. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 60-56.

Pueblo Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Pueblo East, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Pueblo Central will take on Pueblo Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo Central is facing Pueblo Centennial at the right time seeing as Pueblo Centennial is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pueblo East, they will challenge Pueblo County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo East has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
