Volleyball Recap: College Prep of America Comes Up Short

College Prep of America was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Universal Stars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Stars this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat two weeks ago.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, College Prep of America sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-27, 25-20.

College Prep of America's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Universal, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

As of now, neither College Prep of America nor the Stars have any future games scheduled.
