Softball Recap: Cypress Falls Takes a Loss

Cypress Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cy-Fair Bobcats, falling 11-2. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 10-9 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in February of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cypress Falls saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Leblanc, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Cypress Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Cy-Fair, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Cypress Falls will be playing at home against Cypress Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cy-Fair, they will venture away from home to take on Northbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northbrook has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.07 runs per game on average), something Cy-Fair will no doubt try to take advantage of.
