Soccer Recap: Tri-County Comes Up Short

Tri-County lost against Columbus Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Penguins came up short against the Dons, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that Tri-County have lost by exactly eight goals.

Tri-County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Columbus Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Tri-County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newman at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Columbus Catholic, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Northland Pines at 1:00 p.m.
