Aliza Hind was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with three runs.

In other batting news, Sadie S.Steward was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Quinn Pence also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Randolph always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Silver Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Frewsburg by a score of 10-7 on Monday. The Black Knights haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Rylee Weiskerger, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Priya Sakpal was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Silver Creek's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Randolph, their record now sits at 6-8.

Randolph beat Silver Creek 12-7 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
