Basketball Recap: Northeast Falls Short of Grundy Center in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northeast can now relate to. They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grundy Center Spartans on Saturday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Grundy Center, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grundy Center will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Unity Christian on March 11th. One thing working in Unity Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
