Decatur won the last time they faced Bridgeport and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Bulls 13-3. Considering the Eagles have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alivia Creasser made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Madi Moreland was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Abby Steele, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Decatur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bridgeport only posted an OBP of .370.

Decatur pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Bridgeport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
