Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sedgwick Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 on Monday.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sedgwick, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will welcome Remington on Thursday. As for Sedgwick, they will square off against Chase County on Monday.
