Softball Recap: Highland Trojans vs. Hammond Central Wolves

Highland's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hammond Central Wolves an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Trojans have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jordan Steele was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Hailey Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
