Basketball Recap: Pampa Comes Up Short

If Pampa was feeling good fresh off their 77-35 takedown of Borger last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pampa Harvesters took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hereford Whitefaces. The Harvesters were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Whitefaces earlier this season, when they won 58-40.

Pampa has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Hereford, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-14.

Pampa will welcome Perryton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hereford, they will head out to take on Borger at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
