Softball Recap: Lumberton Comes Up Short

Lumberton and Cleveland squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lumberton had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Rams. Considering the last time the Pirates couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

This is the second loss in a row for Lumberton and nudges their season record down to 11-15. As for Cleveland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Lumberton nor Cleveland have any future games scheduled.
