Westlake waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Lakewood Rangers. That's more bragging rights for the Demons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Westlake walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Lakewood still got an impressive performance from Audrey McNulty, who had 19 digs. McNulty is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Westlake has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
Westlake has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hathaway Brown on the 17th. After both having extra time off, Lakewood and North will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 23rd.
