Basketball Game Preview: Classical Saints vs. Berean Academy Warriors

Classical hasn't had much luck against Berean Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Classical Saints will face off against the Berean Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Classical came up short against Bennington and fell 55-43.

Despite their defeat, Classical saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Nevi Wilkey, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards, was perhaps the best of all. Wilkey is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Maggie Neill was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Berean Academy beat Marion 29-20 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Berean Academy.

Berean Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Classical came up short against Berean Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 43-35. Can Classical avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
