Basketball Recap: Mossyrock Finds Playoff Glory Versus Raymond/South Bend

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mossyrock walked away with it. They took down the Raymond/South Bend Ravens 70-55 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Ravens back in January, they had to take a 42-41 defeat.

Raymond/South Bend's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Quintana, who posted 22 points along with eight boards and five assists. The match was Quintana's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Banker, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Mossyrock's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Raymond/South Bend, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Mossyrock will face off against Adna at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Adna's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. Raymond/South Bend does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
