Softball Recap: West Mifflin Takes Down North Catholic in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, West Mifflin rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the North Catholic Trojans.

West Mifflin is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for North Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

As of now, neither West Mifflin nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
