Baseball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Morgan's offense. They fell just short of the Green Canyon Wolves by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Morgan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Venz, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Morgan's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7. As for Green Canyon, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-19 record.

Looking ahead, Morgan is taking a road trip to square off against Providence Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Green Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
