Baseball Recap: Culver Community Cavaliers vs. Triton Trojans
Culver Community had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 3-10 to make it six. They fell just short of the Triton Trojans by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on Saturday.

On Triton's side, Levi McFarland made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave McFarland a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He has become a key player for Triton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-6 otherwise.
McFarland wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit.
