Baseball Recap: Murray Takes a Loss

Murray blew Trigg County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Trigg County got their revenge. Murray fell just short of Trigg County by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Avery Starks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Murray's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Trigg County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Murray has already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Massac County on the 29th. As for Trigg County, they will be playing at home against Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Trigg County is facing Union County at the right time seeing as Union County is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
