Neshannock is a perfect 4-0 against Northgate since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Neshannock Lancers will take on the Northgate Flames at 7:30 p.m. Neshannock is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

Neshannock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Winchester Thurston by a score of 56-44. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Winchester Thurston are ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Northgate hadn't done well against Springdale recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Northgate took down Springdale 61-45.

Northgate is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points over those games. As for Neshannock, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.

Everything went Neshannock's way against Northgate when the teams last played back in February of 2018, as Neshannock made off with a 72-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Neshannock since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
