 Perry won the last time they faced Upper Scioto Valley, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Perry Commodores blew past the Upper Scioto Valley Rams 13-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Perry.
  Hunter Scott made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out 12 batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). Scott has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Scott was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Brady Shively was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-4.  Brody Douce was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 On Upper Scioto Valley's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Maddox Underwood, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Perry's win bumped their record up to 9-7-1. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last seven games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record  this season.
 Perry will  square off against Kenton at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arlington at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Arlington is coming into the  matchup with five straight  victories on the road,  so Upper Scioto Valley will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
