Long Creek extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 4-2. They walked away with a 21-14 win over the San Antonio Christian Lions. For the Dragons, this counts as revenge for the 38-10 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

As for San Antonio Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, San Antonio Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ethan Young rushed for 84 yards and a pair of TDs.

Looking ahead, Long Creek will challenge Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Antonio Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
