Softball Game Preview: Plymouth Bobcats vs. Kennett Eagles

Plymouth is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Kennett a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Plymouth Bobcats will be playing at home against the Kennett Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Plymouth will be strutting in after a win while Kennett will be coming in after a loss.

Plymouth is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Hanover with a sharp 27-6 victory on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their one-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Kennett lost 13-1 to Stark on Friday.

Plymouth's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kennett, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

Plymouth suffered a grim 19-1 defeat to Kennett in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
