Baseball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 39th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Wren Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on Monday.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Wren, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

While Southside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
