Baseball Recap: Albion Purple Eagles vs. Royalton-Hartland Rams
Albion lost to Royalton-Hartland back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Purple Eagles fell just short of the Rams by a score of 5-4. The Purple Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nathan Gibson put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.
