Volleyball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Bethel Christian Academy lost against New Bern Christian Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of New Bern Christian Academy by a score of 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Mikayla Cash and Emma Ingram, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Kensie Lee and her ten assists. Finally, Addison Baker kept Bethel Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Bethel Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for New Bern Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Bethel Christian Academy will challenge Gramercy Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Bern Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Fellowship Christian Academy on the 30th.
