Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage Christian). Everything went their way against the Whitefield Academy Lions on Thursday as the Heritage Christian Eagles made off with a 61-38 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Despite the defeat, Whitefield Academy had strong showings from Ellis Chung, who went 5 of 8 en route to 10 points, and Ann Metcalf, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 11 points. The dominant performance gave Chung a new career-high in points.

Heritage Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
