Basketball Recap: Valley Rams vs. Beauregard Hornets
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). They came out on top against the Beauregard Hornets by a score of 78-69 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 51.7 points per game.
Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Weaver led the charge by dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. Weaver has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zan Woody, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 16 points in addition to six assists and six boards.
