Soccer Game Preview: Prince George vs. Hopewell

Prince George is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will face off against the Hopewell Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m.

Prince George is headed into their matchup with Hopewell looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against New Kent on Monday. Prince George and New Kent finished up their game with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Hopewell was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of York by a score of 1-0. Hopewell haven't had much luck with York recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Prince George skirted past Hopewell 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Prince George repeat their success, or does Hopewell has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
