Baseball Game Preview: Hancock Hawks vs. West Harrison Hurricanes

For the second straight game, Hancock will face off against West Harrison. The Hawks will head out to challenge the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hancock is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since February 18th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past West Harrison 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Ayden Howard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Chace Brown was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hancock's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for West Harrison, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
