Centreville won against James Madison  last Friday with 35  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Westfield Bulldogs by a score of  35-28. The  win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on six straight.
  Will Shields had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 74 yards and two  scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 271 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt. Those  74  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high. 118 of  Shields' passing yards were hauled in by Jourdan Simpson.
 Westfield's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ryan Carlson, who threw for 214 yards and one  TD while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punched in one rushing score.  PJ Sutherland helped  Carlson out on the ground, rushing for 103 yards and one  score.
Centreville's record now sits at 6-1. As for Westfield, their  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centreville will take on South Lakes at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  signal callers against one another:  Shields and  Christian Wyatt. As for Westfield, they will face off against Chantilly at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.75  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
