Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only San Dimas walked away with it. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Providence Pioneers by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64. The win was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won five matches in a row.

San Dimas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Providence, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.

Coming up, San Dimas will face off against Norte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norte Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully San Dimas likes a good challenge. Providence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
