Volleyball Recap: Vincent Memorial Comes Up Short

Vincent Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Calipatria Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Vincent Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Calipatria, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Vincent Memorial will challenge rival Palo Verde Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Calipatria is set to take on their familiar foe Calexico at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
