Volleyball Recap: Central Arkansas Christian Takes a Loss

If Central Arkansas Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Maumelle on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Bauxite Miners on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-21.

Kayla Myers paced Central Arkansas Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Myers got some help from Mia Adams and her 15 assists. Myers was also a major player on defense: she and Leighton DeVore shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Central Arkansas Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Central Arkansas Christian will head out to challenge Sheridan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bauxite, they will welcome Malvern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
