Football Game Preview: Parker Thundering Herd vs. Muscle Shoals Trojans + How To Watch

The Parker Thundering Herd will square off against the Muscle Shoals Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Parker is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 42-21 margin over Oxford. The victory continues a trend for the Thundering Herd in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won three in a row.

Dylan Reese was his usual excellent self, throwing for 226 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 35 yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chancellor Sparks, who rushed for 107 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Muscle Shoals got the win against Mae Jemison on Friday by a conclusive 38-12. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Jaguars are ranked 205th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Parker's record is now 8-3. As for Muscle Shoals, their record now sits at 10-0.

Everything went Parker's way against Muscle Shoals when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Parker made off with a 35-10 win. Will the Thundering Herd repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
