Waverly is a perfect 6-0 against Aurora since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Vikings will host the Huskies. Waverly's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Waverly is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Hastings on Wednesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Aurora came up short against Lexington on Thursday, falling 5-1. The loss continues a trend for Aurora in their meetings with Lexington: they've now lost eight in a row.

Waverly now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything went Waverly's way against Aurora in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Waverly made off with an 8-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
